Following submission of the above, you will then be invited to attend an informal video interview to check your suitability for vacant roles. If you are shortlisted, you will then be asked to a formal interview with a prospective employer and we will support you to prepare for this interview.
Once you have secured an employment offer and visa permitting, you can apply to travel and take your objective structured clinical examination (OSCE).
The Test of Competence (ToC) is used to assess the skills and knowledge of people applying to join the NMC register from overseas.
It is highly recommended you make sure you can meet our language evidence requirements before you apply.
When you apply to register with the NMC, we need to be satisfied you have the necessary knowledge of English to communicate clearly and effectively.
